Effective Task Scheduling in Mobile Cloud Computing based on Metaheuristic Algorithms

Abstract
Mobile cloud computing (MCC) helps mobile users to access their apps to the cloud, significantly enriching the varieties of apps on mobile users and enhancing the efficiency of the apps' operation. Researchers have carried together all these MCC models across different conditions. As such, it represents a significant issue to decrease the response delay while effectively leveraging the inefficient service capabilities of mobile devices. This paper proposes a hybrid metaheuristic algorithm to optimally distribute tasks in the MCC system to sustain this challenge. A few metaheuristic algorithms, including, ant and bee algorithms, harmony search, firefly algorithm, a cuckoo search is used to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. From the results of the simulation, it is evaluated that the proposed algorithm outperforms mobile system energy usage and task execution completion time.
